What is polymer clay?

Polymer clay is a durable, lightweight modelling material made from PVC and plasticizers. It's similar to modelling clay but is baked in a oven at low temperatures to harden it permanently. Once baked, it becomes strong, flexible, and long-lasting — perfect for creating beautiful, everyday jewellery.

How long does it take for my order to be made and shipped?

Every pair of earrings is handmade to order just for you. Most orders are prepared and shipped within 3–5 business days. During busy periods it may take up to 7 business days. For full shipping details, visit our Shipping Information page.

Are your earrings lightweight?

Yes! All our earrings are designed to be very lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. They're gentle on your ears and perfect for sensitive skin.

What materials do you use?

The earrings are made from high-quality polymer clay.
Hypoallergenic stainless steel – suitable for sensitive ears
All earring hooks/posts are 925 sterling silver.
We use durable, nickel-free components that are kind to your skin.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

We care deeply about the environment. All our packaging is recycled, recyclable, or biodegradable. We use as little plastic as possible.

How sustainable is your process?

We work in small, made-to-order batches to avoid overproduction and waste. All clay scraps are collected and reused in future designs. Any cured pieces that do not pass quality control are also saved and repurposed. Our approach is simple: make thoughtfully, waste as little as possible, and create pieces to be worn, loved and kept.

Can I get a discount for a large order (e.g. for an event or wedding)?

Yes! If you need several pairs for an event, wedding, or special occasion, please email us at hello@lacre.ie. We're happy to arrange a discount for larger orders.

Do you offer repairs?

We stand behind our work. If your earrings break or have any issues within the first 6 months, please contact us — we'll repair or replace them whenever possible.
